Furniture Cleaning

Using our furniture cleaning attachment, we can use the same powerful truck-mounted machine to clean your couches, loveseats, chairs, benches, and ottomans. The process begins with a pre-spray to loosen the ground-in dirt and oil. Using our new, improved hand tools, we clean your furniture and extract 2X more moisture than older equipment. With the new technology, most furniture will be dry within 3-4 hours.
Spot Removal
We have specialized spot removal methods for almost any stain. We currently have specialized products for Red Dye #5 (food grade dye), rust, red wine, coffee, tea, pet stains, ink, blood, vomit, mold, mildew, paint, oil, grease, and many more stains. While most stains will come out completely or at least lighten considerably, there is a chance we will not be able to get them out. Stain removal is dependent on many factors including carpet condition and how long the stain has been there.
Pet Treatment
When your pet has an accident, we do our best to make it like it never happened. Our first step is to treat the area with a neutralizing agent that helps bring the pH level of the stain to one suitable for our other cleaning products to work. Once rinsed with the 230-degree water, we will treat the spot with one of our spot removers specifically designed for pet stains. After cleaning has been completed, areas are post-treated with a different agent that can help neutralize odor and staining as the carpet dries.
While this process has been perfected over the years, not all areas respond to the treatment. Our technicians are pretty good at recognizing how these areas will respond and what to expect.

In-Plant Rug Cleaning
Ann Arbor Rug and Carpet Cleaning offers in-plant rug cleaning for your convenience. Rugs that are brought in will be pre-treated with our proprietary spray, and then agitated with our counter rotating brush to help scrub the fibers clean. Then both sides of the rug will be steam cleaned using one of our truck-mounted machines. Any spots that require extra attention will be treated at that point. Finally, rugs are hung to dry for 24 hours before we roll them up and store them in plastic bags. Pick up and Delivery is also available, and most rugs are ready to be returned in 1 week.
